Stakeholder Query Policy

The obligation to comply with Regulation (EU) No 1227/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on wholesale energy market integrity and transparency (REMIT) and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 1348/2014, as well as any other relevant applicable legislation, lies with market participants and organised market places. These should bear in mind that having submitted a question to the Agency about the above-mentioned regulations does not relieve them of their obligations under REMIT and the REMIT Implementing Regulation.

Please read carefully

The Agency receives a large number of questions and most of them have already been addressed in the publicly available documentation. The Agency will only reply directly to the sender of the query if it considers that an answer cannot be found in the available documentation and that the query requires attention. Therefore, before submitting your query, please consult the REMIT Portal for the overview of existing guidance and documentation (List of all documents and Knowledge Base). Please note that answers to questions submitted via the REMIT Query Form may be included in future editions of the Q&A and FAQ documents, which are publicly available on the REMIT Portal.

Market Participants

For questions regarding Market Participants’ registration with NRAs, the Centralized European Register of Market Participants (CEREMP), or any technical problems with CEREMP, please contact the relevant National Regulatory Authority (NRA). The list of European NRAs is available on the REMIT Portal at https://www.acer-remit.eu/portal/ceremp.

Suspicious Transaction Report (STR)

If you would like to notify a Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) to the Agency, please use the form available on the Agency’s notification platform at https://www.acer-remit.eu/np/str. Please note that STRs received via the REMIT query form will NOT be processed and will be permanently deleted.
