Welcome to the REMIT Notification Platform
This is where you can notify to ACER and national regulatory authorities (NRAs) suspected breaches of REMIT, the EU-wide framework that protects the integrity of wholesale energy markets.

What can be reported here?

Any suspected breaches of REMIT, including:

  • Insider trading, which involves the use or improper disclosure of inside information. This is precise, non-public information that could significantly affect wholesale energy prices if made public.
  • Market manipulation, which may take several forms, including giving false or misleading signals, securing an artificial price, using fictitious devices or deception, or disseminating false or misleading information.
  • Other breaches of REMIT obligations, including disclosure of inside information and data reporting.
The use of REMIT exemptions by market participants in case of:

  • Delayed disclosure of inside information (Article 4(2)) of REMIT)
  • Coverage of an immediate physical loss resulting from unplanned outages (Article 3(4)(b) of REMIT).
Notify transactions to cover the immediate physical loss (Article 3(4)(b) of REMIT)
Notify exceptional delay in the public disclosure of inside information (Article 4(2) of REMIT)
