List of liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities is a comprehensive register maintained by ACER under REMIT, identifying all EU-based terminals and storage sites involved in the wholesale trading of LNG. This register includes regasification terminals, liquefaction plants, and associated storage facilities, ensuring clarity on the assets subject to transaction reporting and market integrity oversight. Market participants engaged in LNG trading must use the standardised facility codes provided in this list when fulfilling their REMIT reporting obligations. TERMINAL, a dedicated application within ACER’s Electricity and Gas Information System (AEGIS), used to report LNG transactions. Registration and reporting via TERMINAL will be discontinued in October 2027, according to the revised REMIT Implementing Regulation.
