The list of Energy Identification Codes (EICs) aims at fostering the transparency of the energy market. This list contains all active EICs denoting Delivery Points or Zones (DPOZs) that have been accepted by the Agency. It enables the market participants, Organised Market Places (OMPs) and Registered Reporting Mechanisms (RRMs) to ensure the quality of their REMIT reporting. 

It is important to note that transaction reports containing inactive or not accepted EICs, which are absent from the Agency’s list, violate the Agency’s data collection system’s (ARIS) validation rules and are flagged accordingly. 

With a view to ensure a swift reporting, the Agency urges all relevant parties to promptly submit new/updated information regarding EICs via the EICs Reporting Form.
